Pulsewerk is a beautiful blend of Dub Techno, hypnotic elements and some seriously trippy electronic goodness. Deep, dreamy, spacey and full of sonic surprises that make producing such a dream. This is Techno with an alternative perspective, it’s one of our favs. Echoing synths, unusual textures, evolving ideas and rhythms that eventually just trip you out. You can almost feel the possibilities before even starting arrangements. That's when you know you've got something special taking pride of place in your sample library.

So let’s get into it. Pulsewerk has all the bells and whistles, but does it without showing off The library includes 25 music loops, alongside 39 bass synth loops, 34 pluck loops, 20 pad loops and a selection of arpeggios and wonderfully trippy synth sounds. There's a real sense of exploration throughout these samples and loops, busting full of musical ideas that could comfortably build your next entire production, and the next, and the next. It’s one of those packs that will let you time travel through the day and night whilst thinking only an hour has passed. It’s literally programming heaven.

Tell us about the drums Zenhiser, okay! Rather than sticking entirely to programmed electronic percussion, Pulsewerk brings together sounds from a MFB Tanzbär drum machine with recordings of actual acoustic drum kits. A perfect match to deliver something unique. With that you've also got full drum grooves, kick free variations and top loops, alongside a healthy selection of individual drum hits that should be making you salivate from the standard drum sounds. Behind the scenes the producer has used some tasty equipment to make the sounds shine. The Sequential Prophet 5 and Moog Grandmother were used to give everything that vintage flair.

One of the things we really appreciate in this sample pack is that you can take it beyond Dub Techno. The sounds are based around this genre but they have bundles of character to work beautifully in deeper Techno productions, Experimental Electronica, Ambient Electronic music and everything in between. With 466 samples, including 219 loops, 204 one shots, 55 MIDI files and 43 stems, Pulsewerk delivers a sensational selection of sounds to get your creative jiggle on. The stems are super useful when you need to get inside the musical ideas, pull things apart and rebuild them into something completely different.
