Minima - Tech House
Minima sits comfortably between Tech House and Minimal Deep Tech. Warm, percussive, modern, and incredibly fun to work with. More is less here, with every element you could possibly want in Tech House productions is here. Vocals, nailing it, beats, on point, basslines, rolling perfectly, melodies, as tight and snappy as they come.
Groove is everything with Tech House, we’re sure you’ll agree, and thankfully Minima has this dialled in. Drums carry weight beautifully, percussion dances around the groove with intentions, and the low end locks in exactly where it should. It's clean, punchy, and full of movement without ever becoming overcrowded. Filling tracks with the essentials rather than cramming in everything and the kitchen sink. Behind the scenes there's plenty of clever engineering. Layered mono and stereo drum groups keep the centre solid whilst opening the mix around the edges. Transient shaping gives the drums that satisfying snap, and careful low end control means bass and kick live together in perfect harmony. Small details, big difference.
There’s one thing you’ll notice when using this pack, how quickly ideas come together. Arrangements start building themselves with ease, and before long you're tweaking breakdowns instead of spending the same amount of time trying to start off with the right kick drum. So whether you're drifting towards stripped back Minimal Deep Tech or pushing in the direction of that bigger Tech House sound, Minima gives you plenty of samples, loops, midi, stems and one shots, vocals, to work with.
